Silk Pillowcase

Our Silk Pillowcase measures 70 × 50 cm and is designed for a standard-size pillow.

Pillow sizes can vary between brands, including IKEA, so we strongly recommend measuring your pillow from edge to edge at its widest point before ordering. Oversized, extra-deep or very high-profile pillows may create a tighter fit, even when their listed length and width appear similar.

The concealed opening is designed to provide a neat, secure fit, so it may feel more fitted than an envelope-style pillowcase.

Gently compress your pillow and insert one end through the opening first. Work the pillow into each corner gradually before closing the zipper. Avoid pulling forcefully on the silk, seams or zipper. Taking a few extra seconds to insert the pillow carefully will help protect the fabric.

The zipper is hidden along the edge of the pillowcase, helping keep it away from your face while also preventing the pillow from sliding out overnight.

Once closed, make sure the zipper pull is sitting flat. You can also position the zippered end away from your face or toward the headboard if that feels more comfortable. Customers frequently mention the secure zip closure as one of the features they appreciate.

Yes. Our pillowcase is made from 6A-grade mulberry silk in a 19-momme weight and is Oeko-Tex® certified.“Momme” measures the weight and density of silk fabric. A 19-momme construction provides a smooth, luxurious feel while offering a good balance of softness, breathability and durability for regular use.

Hand wash or machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle using a pH-neutral detergent made for silk.

Do not use bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. Allow it to air dry naturally and avoid wringing or twisting the fabric. If needed, iron on a low-heat setting. Following these instructions will help preserve the silk’s softness, colour and finish.
